Postdoctoral research position in the AEgIS group at Warsaw University of Technology

Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) is a technical research university with traditions in education dating to the 19th century, being the oldest of its kind in Poland. It is a forward-thinking institution where high-quality education meets world-class research and innovation. WUT is ranked number one among all technical universities and number three among all universities in the country.

The Heavy Ion Collision Group at the Faculty of Physics at Warsaw University of Technology participates in the AEgIS experiment at Antiproton Decelerator, ALICE at the LHC and NA61/SHINE at SPS in CERN, at the STAR experiment at RHIC, HADES and CBM experiments at GSI/FAIR and at the MPD at NICA. The AEgIS group at WUT consists of 4 staff members, 1 Postdoc and a number of MSc, and BSc students working in the group during the realization of their theses.

The Antihydrogen Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy (AEgIS) experiment at CERN the Antiproton Decelerator (https://aegis.web.cern.ch), aims the direct measurement of the Earth's gravitational acceleration on antihydrogen atoms. The AEGIS group at WUT specializes on control electronics, detailed simulations, and design of low-energy experiments with antiprotonic atoms.
