Smart, economical and ecological energy management is today one of the greatest challenges facing our civilization. The generation and storage of energy is also one of the leading research areas at the Warsaw University of Technology.
Prof. Hanna Zbroszczyk will implement the project "Exploration of the QCD Phase Diagram of Strongly Affecting Matter in HADES and CBM Experiments at GSI / FAIR" financed by the National Science Center under the SONATA BIS program.

In the latest edition of the QS by Subject ranking, we again took first place in Poland in the Engineering & Technology category. In the Natural Sciences category, we maintained our third position in the country.
The paper "Gain-induced topological response via tailored long-range interactions" by dr inż. Paweł Jung from the Faculty of Physics of the Warsaw University of Technology had the opportunity to prepare thanks to the cooperation with the team of prof. Demetrios Christodoulides from the University of Central Florida (USA) and prof. Mercedeh Khajavikhan from the University of Southern California (USA) as part of a research grant from the Ministry of Education and Science "Mobility Plus". Haldane's 1988 model was implemented for the first time in photonics.
Dr hab. Piotr Lesiak, prof. scholarship, the Special Issue Guest Editor for Materials (140 points, IF 3.057) invites submissions. The theme of the issue "Recent Advances in Photonic Sensors". The deadline for submission of articles is September 30, 2021.
