The Warsaw University of Technology has a visual identification system based on modern typography and a refreshed graphic layer of the emblems of individual organizational units. The Faculty of Physics, being part of the Warsaw University of Technology, uses a dedicated visual identification consistent with the system applicable at the entire university. 

Rules for the use of identification marks

Details of the use of signs are contained in the relevant documents:

Below, we provide the identification signs of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Physics in dedicated colors. The marks have protective fields (margins) that must not be trimmed or placed inside them other graphic elements. Anyone who downloads the following files confirms that they have read the book of the Mark of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Physics and undertakes to apply the recommendations contained therein. 

Identification mark of the Faculty of Physics WUT

The basic identification mark of the Faculty of Physics is the logotype:

An element of the identification of the Warsaw University of Technology is also the restriction of the colors of the materials to a set of 8 colors, of which the basic colors are dedicated to the Faculty of Physics:

  • Graphite - RGB 60/60/76; CMYK - 40/15/0/85;
  • Sunny - RGB 254/213/66; CMYK - 0/15/90/0;
  • Plum - RGB 150/95/119; CMYK - 40/70/20/0;
  • Heather  - RGB 180/160/170; CMYK - 20/25/15/10

and white and black as complementary colors.

Fonts

Another element of the identification of the Warsaw University of Technology is the limitation of the typography used to two fonts specially designed for this purpose:

Scientific presentations and posters

 An important element of the identification of the Warsaw University of Technology is the uniform appearance of business cards, computer presentations and scientific posters for the entire university. Below, we provide templates dedicated to the Faculty of Physics, consistent with projects for the entire university:

Business cards

Business cards are printed on their own in accordance with the parameters:

Digital printing: format: 85 mm x 55 mm, paper: Rieves Sensation Tactile Matt 350 g / m2 (Antalis distributor) or an equivalent recommended by the printing house (e.g. decorative natural rough white paper 300g / m2), printing: 2 + 2 (CMYK ).

Offest printing: format: 85 mm x 55 mm, paper: Rieves Sensation Tactile Matt (Antalis distributor) or equivalent, 350 g / m2, factory primed paper (type of coating), woodfree ECF, ISO 14001; the surface finish of the paper is a parameter that cannot be changed (it is an integral part of the design); printing: 2 + 2 (Pantone), double-sided dispersion varnish.
