Admission rules to Doctoral Schools

Third-stage studies in the discipline of physics are run by Doctoral Schools No. 1 and No. 3

A necessary condition for participation in recruitment to WUT Doctoral Schools (including an interview) is registration in IRK system and then submit the documents listed below:

  • Application for admission to the Doctoral School // download from the IRK system //
  • A master's degree diploma or another document confirming the possession of a master's degree is temporarily allowed to submit a certificate of the result of the diploma examination issued by the Student Registration Department or the Dean's Office of the Diploma Faculty. In the case of candidates from countries outside the European Union, it is necessary to provide the National Agency for Academic Exchange - more information in the file 'General rules for foreigners.'
  • Diploma Supplement or Certificate of Graduation from Studies issued by the Student Registration Department or the Dean's Office of the Diploma Faculty,
  • CV,
  • Letter of motivation,
  • List of achievements indicating the predisposition to research work (list of publications, presentations at conferences, information on participation in projects, activity in the student scientific movement, awards obtained, etc.),
  • Personal questionnaire // download from the IRK system //,
  • Statement on doctoral studies // download from the IRK system //,
  • Employment declaration // download from the IRK system //,
  • Consent to the processing of personal data // downloadable from the IRK system //.
  • Confirmation of payment of the enrollment fee of PLN 150. to an individual account generated by the internet registration system,

NOTE: Registration and admission fee applies to applying for admission to a given Doctoral School. If you apply for admission to several WUT Doctoral Schools simultaneously, you must register separately and pay the enrollment fee.

Paper versions of the documents should be submitted to the WUT Ph.D. Student Service Department - "Pałacyk" building, ul. Koszykowa 80, room 4, at a later date.
