Competition of the Polish Nuclear Society 2022
The Polish Nuclear Society (PTN) announces another competition for the best doctoral, master's, engineering and bachelor's theses related to atomics (nuclear energy, medical applications of nuclear techniques, radiation technologies, other works related to the issues of benefits and risks related to the use of phenomena, processes) and nuclear techniques, technical aspects, economics and public perception of nuclear power applications, and others). Works defended in the humanities faculties (law, economy, tourism, journalism, etc.) may also be submitted to the competition.
The condition for participation in the competition is sending the application and documents in electronic form by 15/07/2022:
- abstracts of the work,
- a copy of the work,
- a work review or opinion of a research supervisor,
- evaluation of work by the Examination Committee,
- a document confirming the defense of the thesis
Works defended in 2021 and 2022 can take part in the competition.
The authors of the best works will receive prizes.
The Competition Committee appointed by the Main Board of PTN will decide on the awarding of the prizes. In its assessment, the Commission will take into account the originality and innovation of technical, technological and organizational solutions, as well as the cognitive value of the submitted works.
